A Persuasive Speech

A persuasive speech is to influence others about a topic.
Goals to achieve in a persuasive speech:
-make the message relevant to the audience.
-target issues that the audience may feel strongly about.
-demonstrate how changes will benefit the audience.
-establish credibility with the audience.

Three different claims-
Fact: to see if something is true or not.
Value: judgment by attempting to show something that is right or wrong.
Policy: recommends an action that should be taken.
